An MMA enthusiast for over 20+ years, getting started early on with Tae Kwon Do, later dabbling in Jeet Kune Do until he later settled into Muay Thai, Neil has always been drawn to some for of combat sports. After many years of training Muay Thai Neil took his turn at experimenting with both boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Networking well with people in these various sports, it was Neil’s idea to approach both RG and Sandro to open up a training facility that offered something unique, hence the Grants MMA Gym was on its way to being born.

A Muay Thai enthusiast for over 15 years, Sandro comes from a very impressive line of Canada’s elite Muay Thai practitioners. Travelling abroad to Thailand to train after having chalked up an excellent fight record in Canada, the only left for Sandro was to be able to teach others some of the knowledge he has gathered through his vast training. In less than 3 shorts years, Kru Sandro has coached 3 students to champions and several others to undefeated records. He has a passion for Muay Thai that can be heard throughout the gym and felt in his classes. His unique brand of Muay Thai helps fuse traditional Muay Thai with an emphasis on MMA.
Originally from Montreal, RG has trained boxing since the age of 5. Having fought over 50 times has an amateur until injuries in the Olympic trials forced him to call it a career, RG turned his attention to coaching both amateur and professional boxers. RG has had the pleasure of coaching not only local fighters, but has also worked with professional athletes across North America as well as members of the national boxing team in India. Quickly being regarded as one of the top trainers not only in boxing but also MMA, RG is quickly becoming in demand by both his athletes and students in the gym. What makes RG’s coaching methods so unique are both his training techniques inside the gym and out for all not only his pro athletes but all his students.
